Sodick Develops New Technology for Dressing PCD Grinding Wheels

Sodick continues to push the boundaries of technology with the development of a new solution for dressing PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond) grinding wheels using their 4+2 (Index & Rotate) Wire EDM technology. This cutting-edge application, available on the Sodick VN400Q, aims to improve precision and efficiency in the dressing process.

Grinding wheels need to be dressed regularly to maintain their performance and ensure optimal grinding results. Dressing removes the worn abrasive material, revealing fresh grains and restoring the sharpness of the wheel.
